GAGDI LED SPEAKER GBAJABIAMILA TO LATE MAITALA’S RESIDENCE TO CONDOLE WITH FAMILY OVER LAWMAKER’S DEATH
Earlier today, Rt Hon. Gagdi led the entourage of the House of Representatives Speaker, Femi GBAJABIAMILA to the residence of their late colleague, Haruna Maitala, the member representing Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency, who died in an autocrash a fortnight ago, to condole with the family.
While commiserating with the family over the loss, the Rt Hon. Speaker encouraged them to be strong in the face of this trial, and accept the loss in good cheers as the will of Allah.
He eulogized the good virtues of the deceased and prayed Allah to grant his soul Jannatul firdaus. He said the deceased was an asset to the House of Representatives with his wise and elderly counsel, and that the House of Representatives was going to miss him greatly.
Meanwhile, the Speaker and his entourage had proceeded to attend the memorial church service of his late mother inlaw.
