JOS MAIN MARKET: PLATEAU STATE GOVERNMENT CARPETS BAGOS IN 24 PAGED COUNTER- AFFIDAVIT TO MOTION ON NOTICE.
The Plateau State Government has responded to the Ex-parte Court Order obtained, from the High Court of Plateau State sitting in Jos, by Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, Member Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency and the Motion on Notice seeking Interlocutory Injunction to stop the reconstruction of Jos Main Market, a Project located outside his Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency.
In a 24-paged Court filings, the Plateau State Government carpeted Hon. Bagos, describing him as an Opportunists, a Busy Body, a Meddlesome Interloper and Gate- Crasher who does not mind whipping up base sentiments for cheap Political Gains ahead of his re-election bid in 2023.
The Government in its submission is asking the Court to refuse the grant of the order sought because Bagos has not placed any evidence before it that the Plateau State Government breached any Law.The Government argued that indeed Hon. Bagos is actually desperate to score cheap political points and is resorting to Political brinksmanship in order to boost his dwindling Political Stock ahead of his 2023 re-election bid .
