Chairman House Committee on Navy, and member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam, Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi today at his Constituency Office in Pankshin, while charting a way forward revealed what is soon to take place.
The picture of what to expect about the Gagdi Campaign Council (GCC) and the road for him to be returned for a second term were unveiled amidst fanfare, and encomiums of how he has changed the roadmap and fortunes of PKK in the last four years without selecting which area to bless with projects and empowerment initiatives.
Critical stakeholders who included Nde John G. Gobak, Rt Hon Emmanuel L. Go’ar and Prof SMG Kanam who spoke during the meeting paid glowing tributes to Rt Hon Yusuf Gagdi on what he has done, warning that none of those who attended the meeting should be hoodwinked into using religious sentiments aimed at ruining the chances of the candidate.
They all opined that with the myriad of good seeds planted by Gagdi in the first term, it was time not to sleep, but continue to use various genuine channels to promote his candidacy for the second tenure.
The meeting also coincided with the meeting of his aides drawn from the three local government areas that make up PKK. Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, who spoke matter of factly to the aides, said they have come a long way; as such, they must hold the fort and build on what was started in 2019.
He told the stakeholders, which included some members of the Elders Advisory Council, Principal Officers of the expected Gagdi Campaign Council, all Gagdi Aides, that since he came on board in 2019, he has not failed to pay their entitlements for a month. As such, he enthused that it was expected of them to reciprocate by selling what he has come to represent for PKK.
