CONMVOM MANAGEMENT EMBARKS ON FAMILARISATION TOUR OF THE FOUR SCHOOLS OF THE COLLEGE.

Mr. Danlami Bako Sambo FWACN and his management Team took a tour of the schools in the College in a bid to familiarise with the members of Staff of the College of Nursing and Midwifery Vom community. The decision to embark on the tour was approved at the Management sitting as part of strategies to cement the relationship between the Management and members of Staff of the College Community being one of the major stakeholders in sustenance of the College. The first point of call was the School of Midwifery Vom, after which School of Nursing Vom, School of Midwifery Jos and School of Nursing Jos took their turn in that other.

The Provost and his Team were received by the Directors and Staff of the Schools. He introduced the newly appointed Registrar Mrs. Laraba Kure (JP), Mabas Danladi Majiu (Chartered Accountants) Bursar, and the Chartered Librarian of the College Mr. Gotau Joseph Tongshaka to the delight of the Directors and Staff. He intimated the gathering of the reasons of the visit which is basically to say thank you and familiarise with them most especially the new Bursar and Librarian who are coming outside the College Community. He added that the visit was also to formally inform them that they had assumed office.

The Provost called for unity and a sense of purpose among members of the College Community to develop the CONMVOM as a first class College in Nigeria and beyond. “With unity we can achieve a lot together but we cannot succeed when we are divided” he noted. He therefore, asked the Directors and Staff to support him to achieve his vision of transforming the College. He equally numerated a number of issues among which include Discipline,Hardwork,Respect.He reiterated that the welfare of Staff and Students will be given priority.

Adding their voices to the Provost’s,the Registrar, Bursar and Librarian indicated that they would operate an inclusive administration without discrimination. “We will give opportunity to everybody to contribute towards realising the goals and objectives of this College,” they stressed. On their part, the Directors noted that the College would rally behind the Management to ensure that the vision of the Provost is achieved.
