
GAGDI DISTRIBUTES SALLAH INCENTIVES WORTH OVER #30 MILLION, CELEBRATES MUSLIMS ON EID-EL-KABR
In his trademark tradition of reaching out to adherents of various faiths during religious festivities, the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has shared Sallah incentives worth over #30 million to the Muslim communities in the three local government areas of the Constituency and the state capital, in commemoration of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabr celebration, while wishing the ummah a hitch free celebration.
Gagdi, who is unavoidably out of the country, charges Muslims to imbibe the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and reflect same in their daily lives and in their interactions with one another.
The lawmaker, who was full of gratitude to Almighty for the privilege to witness yet another Sallah celebration in good health, prayed Allah to accept the sacrifices and supplication of the faithful, and grant wisdom to the new leadership in the country to steer the affairs of the nation with equanimity.
From available records, some paramount rulers from Kanam Emirate, Jahr and Bogghom Chiefdoms as well as District Heads of the 18 Districts in Kanam local government areas were reached out to in the distribution of the Sallah incentives by the lawmaker.
Imams of the four Eid grounds in Dengi town and those of Pankshin and Kenke LGAs, as well as Wards Friday Imams were not left out of the distribution.
Salaried village heads, youth and women groups in the Constituency got their shares of the incentives.
In order to ensure the inclusion of different interest groups in the sharing formula, LGA and Ward party exco and stakeholders, Elders and Caucus of the All Progressives Congress benefited from the lawmaker’s benevolence.

The lawmaker appreciated the distribution committee for a thorough job done with no supervision, as he was faraway Paris and London. GAGDI will be heading to New York City in the United State Of America before returning back to Nigeria. He appealed to those whom the gesture could not reach to exercise patience, as there has never been enough of anything that goes round to everyone’s satisfaction; indulging them to excuse the committee’s incapabilities.
