We, the Strategic Media Team of the member representing PKK, Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, on behalf of our Principal, register our heartfelt condolences to the people of Plateau State; particularly Governor Simon Lalong, the leader of the state, and the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the ghastly motor accident involving PDP members returning from PDP zonal rally in Pankshin, along Pushit-Panyam road.
The irreparable loss is a blow not only to the families but the entire Plateau people, regardless of party affiliation. We know that politics come and go, but Plateau remains our collective heritage as brothers and sisters.
Therefore, we join faith with other well-meaning Plateau citizens in prayers for the quick recovery of those injured in the accident and the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives.
Meanwhile, it has become pertinent for us to use this medium to draw the attention of Latep Dabang and condemn his penchant for using foul language against our Principal at every slight opportunity he has to make a speech.
He can maturely sell his preferred candidate without resorting to name-calling and political mudslinging, just so to be able to sell his candidate.
Latep’s recent diatribe against our Principal at the Pankshin Zonal Rally is highly uncalled for and at best, unbecoming of a one-time political ally, who has just parted ways for political convenience.
Even at the rally ground where Latep felt it was a gathering of his fellow party men, and thus a fertile ground to sow the seed of discontent against Gagdi, he should have been wise enough to notice the low response of the people to his childish political misadventure, which was indicative of Gagdi’s goodwill and acceptance beyond the boundaries of political party affiliation.
We want to categorically make it clear to Latep Dabang that Gagdi has never been a drug addict. He has never tasted nor attempted to indulge in the act. Indeed, God forbid that Gagdi will resort to taking drugs in the future; even such will not be HIV drugs.
At the appropriate time, when Gagdi takes on Latep Dabang, it will certainly be to the cleaners by responding adequately to his many attacks in the same coin that he deserves.
In the meantime, Latep Dabang should know that it is not everybody that survives on drugs and Gagdi is not one such person; hence he should direct his frustrations to where they belong to accordingly.

“LET US ENCOURAGE OUR ARMED FORCES TO DO MORE” GOVERNOR LALONG URGES NIGERIANS AS HE LAYS WREATH TO HONOUR FALLEN HEROES.
Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has appealed to Nigerians to encourage members of the armed forces through words and actions in order to spur them to do more in securing the nation.
The Governor spoke shortly after laying the wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier at the cenotaph located at the JD Gomwalk Secretariat Jos to mark the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
Lalong said officers and men of the security services have made tremendous sacrifices towards ensuring that there is peace and security in the country and should therefore receive commensurate respect and goodwill.
He said despite the security challenges being experienced in various parts of the country, the security personnel must not be condemned or their morale dampened.
In particular, the Governor expressed appreciation for the role that the security agencies have played in restoring peace to the State and continuing to make it difficult for criminals to make a foothold in any part of the State.
Apart from laying the wreath and releasing pigeons to symbolise peace, the Governor was joined by other top Government officials to lay wreaths. They include Speaker House of Assembly, Chief Judge of Plateau State, GOC 3rd Armoured Division, NAF Commander, Commissioner of Police, Chairman Nigerian Legion among others.

The Minister described the projects as people oriented and impactful to the citizens of Plateau State and those of other states who use them also.
He said “This visit is by a team that constitutes part of the ministerial committee to assess road projects that were undertaken by the Plateau State government on designated federal highways. It is also to reimburse the state government with monies expended in carrying out such projects”.
The Minister said as somebody who knows Jos very well, he was highly impressed by the quality of the work and would have probably missed his way if he had visited alone despite his familarity with the city.
Sambo said the Plateau State government needs to be commended for carrying out the projects despite its lean resources emphasising that for these projects, the reimbursement is timely and in order.
Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Prof. Sonni Tyoden who received the team on behalf of Governor Lalong said the verification of the projects being carried out by the committee was evidence that the Rescue Administration has been working.
He said while the State will be expecting the reimbursement of about six billion naira very soon, it will continue with the projects that are yet to be completed and ensure they are delivered on time and with the highest quality.

In the last couple of months, unsuspecting Nigerians may have been swindled through some Facebook accounts that bear the insignia of the Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam federal constituency.
While we have repeatedly warned gullible Nigerians that the perpetrators of the act would stop at nothing but to fleece them of their hard-earned resources, it has continued unabated.
In the last week, they have changed tactics by using a non-existent empowerment initiative that is allegedly being floated and named Federal Goverment Agricultural Empowerment Fund for Farmers and Small Scale Business Owners. The amount being bandied that could be given to beneficiaries is in the region of N2 million to N50 million.
Let us quickly warm those who may be hoodwinked, there is no such fund in existence that could serve the purpose, for which they are using the name of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi to facilitate the release of the funds to them.
In fact, even if there was any such agency, we are sure there are means that could be used to disburse the funds to legitimate beneficiaries.
It is important to issue this caveat, particularly to those who may fall victims. The Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has never engaged in such means to reach out to his constituents.
He is well positioned to understand the workings of government and how his constituents can benefit from such initiative, if any.
May we use this medium to warn the perpetrators and their gullible conspirators to beware that our Principal cannot condescend to the level of their art. He is responsible enough to know what is good and bad.
We are happy to state that Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has and will ALWAYS provide to his constituents what is lawful and legitimate. Having remained focused all the years, there is nothing that will make him circumvent processes to deliver.
In God We Trust!

In life, some people’s blessings may come from you and one must be ready not to hoard such blessings but give them out to attract more from God who is the source.
Though things were difficult for us business wise, we still deemed it fit to do what we are doing to identify with the less privileged; put smiles on their faces and give them a sense of belonging in the Society. It is always usual for me that one should always reach out to those in need. I am not doing this because i have more than enough, i am going out of my way to put this together to impact the lives of the people” he asserted.
He urged the people not to allow their background and present situation determine their future.
“Do not disappoint the sacrifices being made by people to you.
When i die, I don’t want to be remembered by the amount of money I have but the number of lives I will touch positively when I die” he said.
