The provisional approval granted by the authorities of MOTNA will however be made permanent if MUCDA meets the terms in the memorandum of understanding, MOU to be signed soon.
According to the approval though the Mupun traditional architecture is not represented within MOTNA,however it would be a welcome addition to the MOTNA project.
Reacting to the granting of approval,National President of the Mupun Cultural And Development Association (MUCDA),Chief Pedro Ardiyel Dafur thanked the National Commission For Museums And Monuments for granting its request to have a Mupun Traditional Compound sited within the MOTNA project saying when eventually in place,it will be a replica of the typical and complete Mupun compound as used to be during the time of our forefathers and will also accommodate Mupun traditional artifacts plus be a center for the proposed Mupun Language Institute

From the numerous testimonies said about him, it is evident that during his lifetime, he was determined to change the courses of his students and those that have met him.; but without forgetting his family.
While he lived, he built a legacy of honesty, integrity, fairness, compassion and loyalty; always willing to give his best no matter how deprived he became as s result of the action.

SENATOR HEZEKIAH AYUBA , representing Plateau Central Zone and Chairman Senate Committee on Drugs and Narcotics
A team of the Aides of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi today, carried out assessment visits to some of the Constituency and personal intervention projects sponsored by the member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam in the House of Representatives, spread across the three local government areas that made up the Federal constituency.
The team led by the Director General of Gagdi Campaign Organisation Nde Paul Juryit, includes the lawmaker’s Senior Legislative Aide, Pharm Dagung Haruna Mizim, his PA, Barr Adamu Nuhu and some of his commission and personal aides. They visited some of the major points along Pankshin-Kabwir-Amper-Dengi road where the Member secured allocation of the Sum of Sixteen Million Naira (#16,000,000) only to Federal Road Maintainance Agency (FERMA) to embark on the rehabilitation of potholes along the dilapidated road.
Chairmen of NURTW of Pankshin and Kanke and the secretary of the union in Kanam who were all at the road expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker for ameliorating the plight of commuters playing the road, and pledged their continued support and prayers for him to succeed.
It is worthy of note that the contract for the patching of the potholes was awarded to an indigenous firm owned by a contractor from the constituency. This is a significant departure from the past experiences where contracts in the constituency were awarded to outsiders, at the expense of competent indigenous companies.
The team also inspected the ongoing Dr Sunday Jacob Examination Hall at Kanam Development Association (KADA) Special Academy Dengi (the only school that provides free education to orphans and the less previllaged children in Dengi). The committee also inspected a three classroom at GSS Kor, Pankshin LGA.
Earlier during the visit, the team were at GMSS Dengi, the alma mater of Hon Gagdi, to break the news of the siting of a gigantic ICT center, which when completed will be one of the biggest in the whole of North central Nigeria. The Acting Principal of the School, Mr Musa Musawa was full of appreciation for Hon Gagdi for recognizing the school that produced him in 1999, and expressed optimism that the project will be completed in good time.
The team also visited the District Head of Amper Nde Emmanuel Jatau in his office for consultation on the prospect of siting a new project in the district. The visibly elated monarch was full of eulogies to the member for the unprecedented achievements and urged him not to rest on his oars but sustain the memtum for the good of the people of PKK. The royal father showered blessings on Hon Gagdi and prayed fervently for his success.
Many projects are in the pipeline including the citing of a befitting ICT center in one of the higher institutions in Pankshin, grading of rural roads, sinking of hand pump and motorized boreholes as well as construction of town halls, palaces and district offices across the constituency.
Also in the pipeline is the empowerment package for 5 persons per polling unit in all the wards in the three local government areas. This will include distribution of motorcycles, financial grants and other incentives for the peasants to enable them engage in one form of trade or the other.
The committee was unable to visit the completed 3 classroom block built at Community Secondary School Dungung in Kanke LGA, as well as the newly constructed Palaces of the Village heads of Kyaram, MunKal and Sallaman Kanam. The three palaces were new projects that are already completed and among projects awaiting commissioning by the lawmaker.
The ongoing projects are at various stages of completion, while the foundation laying ceremony for the community Town halls/Skills Acquisition construction at Garam, in Kanke LGA and Tal in Pankshin LGA will soon take place.
We have attached pictures of most of the ongoing and completed projects.

RE: SANKARA’S DELIBERATE FALSEHOOD AND MISINFORMATION
Following posts on the visit of the project monitoring committee of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, the member Representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency to his various ongoing projects sites yesterday, we are confronted with blatant falsehood and deliberate misinformation by one Sankara, who made a post in Democracy and Politic Whatapp platform that was shared on different social media platforms, alluding that the said projects were initiated by Gagdi’s predecessor.
Whatever the motive of the author, we just intend to put the record straight, and disabuse the minds of gullible readers.
For the avoidance of doubt, we shall attach herewith, the approved 2019 Zonal Intervention Projects, popularly known as Constituency projects for PKK, in order to dispel the false information being peddled by the author and to prove without any shreds of doubt that indeed, ALL the projects mentioned are initiated by Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, some of which were even funded from his personal pocket.
To start with, the Palaces of the Village Heads of Kyaram and Munkal, as well as that of the Salaman Kanam are fully funded from the personal pocket of Gagdi, from the foundation to completion. No kobo came from any other source.
The rehabilitation of Pankshin-Amper-Dengi road is an initiative of Rt Hon. Gagdi who also lobbied for the project and equally ensure that one of his constituents got the contract and funds released for the project in order to amiliorate the hardship faced by motorists because of the deplorable state of the road.
The renovated 3 classrooms block at Community Secondary School Dungung as well as the furnishing is a 2020 intervention project of Rt. Hon. Gagdi. What was in the 2019 budget was a construction of 2 classroom block at GSS Dungung, which did not see the light of the day.
Nigeria’s budgetary provisions are yearly affairs, and not all items captured in a budget are implemented. So, to suggest that what was captured in the 2019 budget that was not executed will automatically carry over in the following year’s budget is not only untrue, but deliberate misinformation, because the author of that post should know better that what was budgeted for in the 2019 budget cannot be executed in the second half of 2020.
As a matter of fact, the 2019 intervention projects was funded at below 50 percent, which made it practically impossible to have items captured in the 2019 budget implemented in full. So, if anybody had informed the author that he made provision for some projects in the 2019 budget and such projects were not implemented during his time, such a person should have been honorable enough to inform the author that such projects cannot be automatically carried over in the next budget, except provided for in the budget; in which case somebody else must have championed it, and only serving legislators lobby for special intervention projects, not past lawmakers.
We appreciate the fact that many legislators had served PKK in the past, and all of them have contributed their quota to the development of the constituency, but the pugnacious attitude of meddling into the activities of the present representative and making comparison with the immediate past is not only troubleshooting, but childishly repulsive, as nobody eats his cake and have it.
For any sane mind, no 2019 Zonal Intervention project will be implemented in August 2020, when even the 2020 budget has only four months remaining in its life span.
We will appreciate if our political opponents engage our Boss constructively, rather than nosedive into the abyss of sheer pessimism and mundane antagonistic naysaying.
We have a pact with the people of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Local Government Areas to represent them to the best of our ability and to provide human and physical developments in ways never before witnessed in the history of the constituency, and we shall never be distracted by activities of charlatans.
Our Boss is focused on providing quality representation to PKK through thick and thin and he shall not give heed to the rantings of bitter political losers.
GAGDI CONDOLES GIZO FAMILY, PRAYS FOR THE REPOSE OF MANKWAT’S SOUL
Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency was today at the residence of Late Comrade Mankwat Gizo to condole his widowed wife and relations over the sad death of the astute unionist.
The federal lawmaker who was in company of his wife, Mrs Jemimah Yusuf Gagdi, prayed God to grant everlasting rest to the deceased and admonished the widow to exercise restraints while lamenting the lost of her husband, lest we offend God who deemed it fit to call the deceased at this material time.
He reminded the family that death is an inevitable end of every human being, as such we must accept what God has done in good fate, even though the lost is a painful one.
He said as families gather to rejoice at the birth of a child, so shall families also gather to mourn the death of loved ones; but in so doing, the lawmaker said we must not make comments that may offend God, as nothing ever done Him happens by accident.
As maternal uncles to his mother, Gagdi said the Gizo family is his extended family, as such he was directly affected by the of Mankwat who also doubles as his friend and political associate. According to Gagdi, his close ties with the deceased had made it mandatory for him to come directly from Abuja to the deceased house to pay his condolences before even going to his own house.
Responding on behalf of the Gizo family, Chief Amos Gizo appreciated the lawmaker for defying his busy schedules to personally commiserate with them in their moment of grief, while also condoling the lawmaker on the death of his father some time last month.
The Berom Educational and Cultural Organisation (BECO) has noted with deep concern and sadness, the continued malicious and heartless destruction of farm crops which constitute the mainstay of rural economy of farming communities in B/Ladi and Riyom LGAs.
The latest cases are those of Sho, Rim, Jol and Sopp Villages in B/Ladi and Riyom LGs respectively, where farms grown with crops covering several hectares are maliciously destroyed daily by bandits, in an unseen display of gross insensitivity.
BECO is concerned that this evil act of malicious destruction of farm crops in the affected communities is part of a grand design to ruin the local economy, and impoverish our communities as well as create a permanent state of insecurity that threatens both the lives and livelihoods of the villagers as a prelude to displace and disinherit them of their ancestral habitat and land.
Given the ravaging consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on both macro and micro economies world wide, the negative effects of the destruction of crops on our rural dwellers can only be imagined. It beats the imagination to think that the very bandits who inaugurated the evil agenda of seting their cattle on farms of our People have since deepened their cultivation of grabbed lands and are steadily attaining food sufficiency levels, while pushing our communities into a state of unmitigated socio-economic vulnerability. This is absolutely unacceptable.
BECO is urging the Plateau State government to, as a matter of urgency, extent its policy of financial compensation to victims of loses from deliberate and direct economic sabotage to the affected farmers and communities. Doing so will help to stabilise the victims and prevent the ultimate evil agenda by bandits to displace and disinherit the affected communities.
BECO also wants the law enforcement agencies to ensure that all the bandits arrested in connection to the malicious acts be prosecuted and made to pay for the destroyed crops in full in addition to subsequent conviction by the court of law. This will serve as a necessary deterrence to all criminally minded bandits.
BECO urges all peace loving citizens to expose and condemn all acts of criminality and impunity that threaten peace, harmonious coexistence and inter communal relationship in Plateau State.
