DISREGARD ANY STATEMENT REGARDING SUSPENSION BY OUT GONE STATE EXCO.
The attention of the PDP have been drawn to a statement credited to the out gone PRO of the party mentioned names of respected leaders and caretaker committee Exco of the party in the state in a purpoted suspension statement.
The writer aired by law and lacks the capacity to speak for the party.
While Calling on party faithfuls to disregard such childish statement from persons plotting to destroy the party before leaving for other political party.
This are desperate group of cooperate beggars using the party logo and emblem for survival.
The caretaker committee wish to stress that Mr Akans should not issue any statement on behalf of PDP caretaker committee again, failure to adhere to this will face the full wrath of the law and heavy revolt from party loyalist.
The Chairman led by Hon. Nandom Penap Exo and other members of the committee are responsible leaders in the state who have the party at heart and can’t be drag by any out gone Exco.
The new caretaker committee will give its best to the betterment of our party.
Akans and co are advise to close ranks or face disciplinary actions.

After shooting 20 year old Rinji Peter Bala a resident of Hwolshe area to death in cold blood, soldiers of the STF in Jos this evening shot one Abdullahi Shittu around Majema Junction very close to Zololo junction .
Abdullahi who has a Garage around the area was returning home this evening when he encountered a heavy traffic gridlock. Abdullahi alongside his friend were on a motorcycle trying to maneuver their way through the traffic when the soldiers got to the junction and started shooting in the air abruptly to clear the traffic.
Abdullahi who spoke from his sick bed said he saw one of the soldiers pull out a pistol and fire a shot which hit the ground, the next he heard was another shot that hit him in the buttocks. He was rushed to a private clinic where the doctors painstakingly extracted the bullet from his body. His life was at least saved by the doctors.
Abdullahi is recuperating at the hospital right now.

The working committee arm of the plateau state caretaker committee at its emergency meeting held this evening at state party,s Secretariat to review the unfortunate incidence that took place at the Secretariat . Where some group of rascals mischievously constituted themselves into a caretaker committee which is an affront to national leadership of our party, under the leadership of His Excellency Prince Uche Secondus,
The state leadership of the party frown at this decedents and therefore approved their immediate suspension from the party with immediate effect. The affected persons are as follows…
The attempt by this group of rascals is not only laughable and mischievous but infantile and an act of lawlessness to the extreme which the party can not condone.
Consequently, a seven man disciplinary committee has been constituted to look into the activities of these persons. The Committee members are ….

As part of its commitment towards alleviating the sufferings of the people as a result of the adverse effect of COVID-19 Pandemic, Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center today extended humanitarian intervention to persons living with disability in Jos East, Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas, Plateau State.
Delivering the items in a low-key event that held in the Council Secretariat complex in the mentioned Local Government Areas to stick to social distancing, the CEO Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Center and a great Philanthropist, Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan disclosed that he was there to demonstrate love and assist the target persons with food items to alleviate their sufferings.
Chief Ayuba Burki Gufwan, CEO Beautiful Gates Handicapped People Centre Jos said COVID-19 pandemic has affected social, economic, religious and other activities.
He said government alone cannot do it hence the intervention from Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre.
He charged the Council Chairmen of the areas visited to always consider people living with disability in their activities most importantly now so they can get palliatives to cushion the adverse effect of COVID-19 pandemic.
Chief Ayuba urged the beneficiaries to also assist people who may be in need.
He said he targeted People living with disability because they constitute the poorest of the poor in the society and need special attention.
Chief Ayuba said the means of livelihood of the people has been greatly affected on account of the pandemic
He charged government intervention in providing farm inputs now that the rainy season is here.
He urged them to stick to all preventive measures advised by health experts and government directives aimed at curtailing the spread of the virus while urging government at all levels to increase palliative interventions to the people.
In his remarks, Plateau State Chairman Joint Association of People with disabilities, Hon. Seth Ata appreciated the humanitarian gesture which he said depicts love and empathy, calling on government at all levels, NGOs and well spirited individuals to emulate Hon. Ayuba Burki Gufwan by assisting the people with palliatives in this trying times.
He urged the Chairmen to always engage persons with disability to give them sense of belonging in the society.
He appreciated Chief Ayuba Gufwan for identifying with Members of his Constituency in the entire State.
In their separate remarks, Council Chairmen of the Areas visited Lauded Beautiful Gate Handicapped People Centre for identifying with people with disability in his humanitarian intervention. They gave assurance to always carry people living with disability in their policies.
Chairmen of the Local Government Joint Association of people living with disability in the areas visited who couldn’t hide their joy commended the empathy displayed by Hon. Ayuba Gufwan and prayed God to open greater doors so he can reach more persons.
They lauded his impacts on the less privileged and vulnerable in the society saying his contributions to human capital development can never go unnoticed.
The food items shared to 300 beneficiaries (100 each) in the 3 Local Government Areas were rice, beans, garri and maize.
Similar gesture has been done to people living with disabilities in 14 other Local Government Areas in the State.
A father was left stunned after finding out that his twin babies have two different fathers as one of them isn’t his.
The father made the shocking discovery after taking the newborns to undergo a DNA test as part of the standard procedure to register their births in China, a DNA analyst told reporters.
The Chinese man, who remains unidentified, was astounded upon receiving the test results which indicated that his wife also had sex with someone other than him, Chinese media report.
Deng Yajun, the practitioner who produced the paternity report, said that the chance for such case to happen is one in 10 million.
“First, the mother needs to produce two eggs instead of one in the same month [to have twins],” Ms Deng, who is also the director of Beijing Zhongzheng Forensic Identification Centre, explained to China News Weekly.
“Second, she needs to have intercourse with two men in really short space of time to make it possible.
“The results showed that the children have the same mother but not the same father. They have at least two fathers,” Ms Deng suggested.
Twins being born with different fathers is an extremely rare occurrence known as heteropaternal superfecundation.
Women usually have to have sex with two different men within a day before or after ovulation for both eggs to be fertilised.
Similar stories have been reported in China before.
Last year, a Chinese mother was forced to admit that she had cheated on her husband in a one-night stand after receiving the DNA results.
It came after the couple from south-eastern China’s Xiamen city went to register the birth of their twin sons at the local police station in 2019.
In order to complete the registration, they had to produce the results of a paternity test to prove that the babies were theirs.
The husband, known by his alias Xiaolong, had wondered why one of his sons didn’t look like him at all.
The director from the Fujian Zhengtai Forensic Identification Centre said that Xiaolong was furious after reading the DNA report and confronted his wife.
It is said that his wife initially denied having an affair and accused her husband of falsifying the results.
Xiaolong further interrogated his wife, who then admitted that she had slept with another guy and that it was a one-night stand.
In 2014, an affluent businessman from eastern Chinese city Yiwu was devastated after discovering one of his twin sons was not related to him.
According to Sanxiang Urban Newspaper, the father, named Zhou Gang, decided to take his children for a DNA test after realising his elder son had double eyelids.
He said both he and the children’s mother had single eyelid, therefore he found it strange that one of the babies had double eyelids.
General JT Useni faction of Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has swore in Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the party in the state following the expiration of Hon.Yakubu Chohco led Committee on the 10th May, 2020 and inline with Section 47(1) of the party constitution 2017 as Amended and as the out gone Excos have serve their mandatory tenure of Four years, the caretaker committee are to step in to avoid any vacuum pending the election of new state officials. The inauguration of the New Exco members of the party held at the party’s office along Yakubu Gowon Way Opposite NTA jos , plateau state today. In his acceptance speech , the committee chairman Hon. Exo Nandom Penap said the mission and vision of the Excos is clear as the Excos come to reform the party. “let us remember we are here to reform not to please anyone because we value what PDP stands for, we remain committed and loyal to the National Leadership of our great party led by Uche Secondus and his Executive.” The chairman the leadership of the party Sen.JT Useni, Jonah Jang, Sen.Nasiru Mantu , Hon.DT Sango , members of the National Assemly elected under the PDP, members of the state house of assembly and the party local government Chairmen . Nandom Penap said the Inauguration of the New Excos is imperactive following the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past Excos on 10th May, 2020, inline with the constitution of the party. He said upon expiration of the tenure of the past Excos and base on the directives of the National Working Committee of our party, suspended the activities of the party inline with Government directives in trying to curtail the Covid-19 pandemic which is rampaging the world bringing to standstill the earlier planned PDP state congresses. The Chairman further add that the Excos are seeking reelection and can not continue or be appointed as caretaker committee base on Section 31(2)(e)of the party constitution of 2017 as amended, so the out gone Excos lack moral standing as contain in the sections above. He said in their leadership wisdom , the leadership of the party constitute committee to oversee the party activities in the state pending containment of coronvirus for a date to be announce by the NWC of the party for beffiting , free fair and credible congress in the state which can give equal rights and opportunity to all members to participate without fear or favour. He said the Committee members are carefully selected without bias or prejudice , this to ensure unity of purpose and genuine reconcilation among party men and women as we advice our members to close rank by supporting this committee to ensure sanity and tranquility . The names of the newly constituted Excos includes: Hon.Nandom Penap Exodus Chairman, Hon.Engr Godwin , Secretary , Hon.Akims Mamot, PRO, Hon.Mrs Asebe Dareng , women Leader. Other members of the committee include: Hon.Nathaniel Dakas, Member, Hon.Elder Jacob Dashe, Member and Hon.Kabiru Musa, Member.
You will recall that in the course of the week, I issued an announcement with respect to the flagrant disregard to government order by the public with regards to the Presidential Order imposing a curfew on the country between the hours of 8.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. of each day. Furthermore, the statement reminded the public of the mandatory need to wear masks failure of which the security agents saddled which such enforcement were called upon to deal ruthlessly with the situation. It has come to my notice that the choice of word “ruthlessly” has not gone down well with the public, more so with the current gory happenings in the state. I had made a correction on the statement replacing the word “ruthlessly” with “strictly ” but regret that the corrected script did not get the wide circulation the first one did. It is in this light therefore, that I apologise for the use of the word ruthlessly and hereby withdraw it from that statement forthwith. I’m deeply sorry. Thank you for the understanding.

The first indigenous Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Garba Pwul, SAN today expressed his displeasure with the killing of the 20 year old 300 level student of University of Jos, Rinji Peter Bala by a personnel of Operation Safe Haven on the 12th of May, 2020, describing it as man’s cruelty to man. The Senior Advocate lodged his concern that many people are becoming victims of military brutality all around the nation and Plateau State is witnessing its share of the viciousness without any palpable punishment for the culprits. He registered his condolence with the Family of the deceased over their loss, saying it is a loss to Plateau state in its entirety. He further expressed his readiness to contribute to ensuring Justice is served to the culprit, while praying the bereaved family takes what has happened as an act of God who is all knowing. He equally appreciated the State Governor for his swift reaction to the murder and pleaded with all the youth organisations planing various processions to sacrificially abort same so as not to subvert the standing orders of the Government on security and also the fight on Covid-19. Above all, he urged the entire populace of the state to remain cautious, resilient and prayerful as there’s certainly great light at the end of this dark tunnel.
OPERATION SAFE MISTAKES; AN OPERATION OF MANY MISTAKES….
This Is An Online Petition Against Operation Safe Haven To Defense Headquarters. 15TH MAY,2020. (SHARE, UNTIL IT GETS TO THE MILITARY AUTHORITIES).
Dear sir, This is a petition written by a patriotic citizen of this Noble country, who’s tax is used to train and pay the Security forces. I am an indigene of Plateau where the operation headquarters of your ancient operation code named “Safe Haven” is domiciled.
Sir, as PLATEAU people, we should ordinarily feel safe and more comfortable with your men on our soil but their excesses over time has left us not only in despair about the security of this country but also about the kinds of personnels our nation’s sovereign wealth is spent on training.
Despite loosing counts of the very many people that your men have cut short while in their prime, permit me to bring to your notice few Touching cases of young, vibrant and strong youths that were killed in cold blood amongst many other (reported and unreported) cases by your “Killer Boys” who go around flaunting their “Trained To Kill” T-shirts.
Sir, on the 5th of October 2018, an 18 year old promising young man was gunned down by a Soldier of operation Safe Haven who’s in his livery amongst colleagues on patrol around the students hostel for no offense than being a Plateau man.
Again, some few months ago, a 31 year old man by name Benjamin Arum Izang was tortured by Soldiers At Tina Junction Market until He gave up the ghost. His offence again was only that He is from Jos, the headquarters of Operation Safe Haven.
Sadly, and most shocking is the gruesome murder of a 20 year old Rinji Peter Bala, which happened in the late hours of 12th May 2020 for your men’s crass unprofessionalism.
These are few amongst the many scary tales of disappearances of young boys within Barkin LGA who would be picked up by your men and end up not returning till eternity.
The disservice is that, you never can tell what this young boys would have turned out to be in the future, perhaps becoming Generals that could lead wars and conquer countries or better still defeating the long Boko Haram war that has taken its toll on this country. But they are now lying in their graves and their bloods crying from the depths of the Earth Against their killers mistakenly trained to be Nigerian Soldiers.
How long shall this trend continue??
Your Soldiers have made our people to resort to making jest of you, making jest of the operation and making jest of the military for shooting people at will and for the lame excuses they keep giving to cover what I call “professional negligence and NATIONAL unpatroitism”.
Sir, the ridicule to the face of the military here is conspicuous enough that the Social media space is inundated, billboards and placards everywhere carrying innuendo to the khaki they wear in killing, all this for the misdoings of your boys.
Though there is a statement by the OPSH taking responsibility apologizing for the killing, PLATEAU people will not fold their hands and allow the details be swept under the carpet. Saying that the personnel at the Sentry who shot the victim mistook him for escaping detainee is a grave insult to our sensitivities. Mistakes has always been the excuse, hence Operation Safe Mistakes.
This further tells us that the Nigerian military sentries do not have communications with the duty room or command centers so that when they observe danger, they fire without alerting their colleagues. Again why would you pick up people from a far off distance and after interrogating them, release them and tell them to go without being escorted out of the vicinity? This tells a lot about why so many operations in the country have always lingered for decades without meaningful success. Or were the 5 released people as claimed by the OPSH told to go so that they could fine their way out of the sector by themselves and gather more Intel if they wish against the military if they were “An Enemy”
Many questions begging for answers
Sir, your Soldiers in my state have made the people not to trust them, there’s serious apathy for your men here.
How long shall the whole media space continue to make caricature of the military.
How long shall the pundits continue to expound on extrajudicial killings, how long shall the cartoonists continue to paint a picture of a Killer Armed Forces paid and trained by the Nation’s sovereign wealth.
No wonder a friend said he has since stopped praying for the Nigerian armed forces since the day he watched a brother assassinated in his presence by a supposedly sane soldier. (This shows the state of despair amongst civilians)
The popularity of the military is at all time low…
One wonders why banditry, kidnappings, Insurgency is still booming since our military can Fire and kill with this kind of accuracy and frequency.
Do you not think it is time to take stock of activities?
An operation that has lasted over a decade but with no physical improvement in Security but only increase in “shoot at sight”.
RECOMMENDATIONS!
Thorough investigation should be launched and culprits be made to face the full fury of the law and the punishment be announced to the general public for trust building.
Trigger Freak Soldiers should be redeployed to war front, let them go to the heart of Sambissa so they could be showcasing their firing abilities there and not to be left here to feast on innocent bloods.
Military should at all cost ensure increased budgeting for civil Military engagements so as to win back the trust of the citizens they are dying to protect.
Soldiers should constantly be put to psychology and emotional tests to ascertain their state of mind there by reducing friendly Blue on Blue attacks, Soldier to CIVILIAN fire as a result of depression.
Rigorous courses and trainings for Soldiers deployed in Civil operations on the concept of maintaining internal law and order and on how to react to situations in civil matters.
CONCLUSION! The Civil Military unit of the Nigerian Military is spending millions on civil Military engagements, seminars, and enlightenment campaigns in other to breed patriotism of the citizenry towards the military, but with unabated killings of innocent civilians in this nature, their efforts will not only be futile but counter productive.
The military should and must win back our trust, take us back to those good all days that the military is feared, celebrated and revered by the sundry.
I am writing in pain and anguish as avoidable deaths are becoming unavoidable, my tone is tough because the pain I am having to endure is tougher. PLATEAU IS BECOMING AN ENDANGERED SPECIE AMONGST THE COMMUNITY OF STATE IN NIGERIA.
Note; This piece was written out of patriotism for the country, love for the military and solidarity to the fallen heroes (those who have died in the course of fighting for the country and most importantly those extrajudicially killed by people whom they should have ordinarily run to for safety.
