GAGDI AIDES REACT TO LETEP’S DIATRIBE; COMMISERATE WITH PLATEAU PEOPLE OVER THE LOSS OF PDP MEMBERS IN AN AUTO CRASH

We, the Strategic Media Team of the member representing PKK, Rt Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, on behalf of our Principal, register our heartfelt condolences to the people of Plateau State; particularly Governor Simon Lalong, the leader of the state, and the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the ghastly motor accident involving PDP members returning from PDP zonal rally in Pankshin, along Pushit-Panyam road.

The irreparable loss is a blow not only to the families but the entire Plateau people, regardless of party affiliation. We know that politics come and go, but Plateau remains our collective heritage as brothers and sisters.

Therefore, we join faith with other well-meaning Plateau citizens in prayers for the quick recovery of those injured in the accident and the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives.

Meanwhile, it has become pertinent for us to use this medium to draw the attention of Latep Dabang and condemn his penchant for using foul language against our Principal at every slight opportunity he has to make a speech.

He can maturely sell his preferred candidate without resorting to name-calling and political mudslinging, just so to be able to sell his candidate.

Latep’s recent diatribe against our Principal at the Pankshin Zonal Rally is highly uncalled for and at best, unbecoming of a one-time political ally, who has just parted ways for political convenience.

Even at the rally ground where Latep felt it was a gathering of his fellow party men, and thus a fertile ground to sow the seed of discontent against Gagdi, he should have been wise enough to notice the low response of the people to his childish political misadventure, which was indicative of Gagdi’s goodwill and acceptance beyond the boundaries of political party affiliation.

We want to categorically make it clear to Latep Dabang that Gagdi has never been a drug addict. He has never tasted nor attempted to indulge in the act. Indeed, God forbid that Gagdi will resort to taking drugs in the future; even such will not be HIV drugs.

At the appropriate time, when Gagdi takes on Latep Dabang, it will certainly be to the cleaners by responding adequately to his many attacks in the same coin that he deserves.

In the meantime, Latep Dabang should know that it is not everybody that survives on drugs and Gagdi is not one such person; hence he should direct his frustrations to where they belong to accordingly.

By Prince Sekat, Jos

Chairman House Committee on Navy, and member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam, Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi today at his Constituency Office in Pankshin, while charting a way forward revealed what is soon to take place.

The picture of what to expect about the Gagdi Campaign Council (GCC) and the road for him to be returned for a second term were unveiled amidst fanfare, and encomiums of how he has changed the roadmap and fortunes of PKK in the last four years without selecting which area to bless with projects and empowerment initiatives.

Critical stakeholders who included Nde John G. Gobak, Rt Hon Emmanuel L. Go’ar and Prof SMG Kanam who spoke during the meeting paid glowing tributes to Rt Hon Yusuf Gagdi on what he has done, warning that none of those who attended the meeting should be hoodwinked into using religious sentiments aimed at ruining the chances of the candidate.

They all opined that with the myriad of good seeds planted by Gagdi in the first term, it was time not to sleep, but continue to use various genuine channels to promote his candidacy for the second tenure.

The meeting also coincided with the meeting of his aides drawn from the three local government areas that make up PKK. Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, who spoke matter of factly to the aides, said they have come a long way; as such, they must hold the fort and build on what was started in 2019.

He told the stakeholders, which included some members of the Elders Advisory Council, Principal Officers of the expected Gagdi Campaign Council, all Gagdi Aides, that since he came on board in 2019, he has not failed to pay their entitlements for a month. As such, he enthused that it was expected of them to reciprocate by selling what he has come to represent for PKK.

The Minister said as somebody who knows Jos very well, he was highly impressed by the quality of the work and would have probably missed his way if he had visited alone despite his familarity with the city.

Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Prof. Sonni Tyoden who received the team on behalf of Governor Lalong said the verification of the projects being carried out by the committee was evidence that the Rescue Administration has been working.

CAVEAT: HOW DESPERATE CAN PEOPLE BE, FAKE GAGDI’S HANDLE IS BEING USED TO SWINDLE GULLIBLE NIGERIANS

By Prince Sekat, Jos

In the last couple of months, unsuspecting Nigerians may have been swindled through some Facebook accounts that bear the insignia of the Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, the member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam federal constituency.

While we have repeatedly warned gullible Nigerians that the perpetrators of the act would stop at nothing but to fleece them of their hard-earned resources, it has continued unabated.

In the last week, they have changed tactics by using a non-existent empowerment initiative that is allegedly being floated and named Federal Goverment Agricultural Empowerment Fund for Farmers and Small Scale Business Owners. The amount being bandied that could be given to beneficiaries is in the region of N2 million to N50 million.

Let us quickly warm those who may be hoodwinked, there is no such fund in existence that could serve the purpose, for which they are using the name of Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi to facilitate the release of the funds to them.

In fact, even if there was any such agency, we are sure there are means that could be used to disburse the funds to legitimate beneficiaries.

It is important to issue this caveat, particularly to those who may fall victims. The Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has never engaged in such means to reach out to his constituents.

He is well positioned to understand the workings of government and how his constituents can benefit from such initiative, if any.

May we use this medium to warn the perpetrators and their gullible conspirators to beware that our Principal cannot condescend to the level of their art. He is responsible enough to know what is good and bad.

We are happy to state that Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has and will ALWAYS provide to his constituents what is lawful and legitimate. Having remained focused all the years, there is nothing that will make him circumvent processes to deliver.

In God We Trust!

GOVERNOR LALONG CLEARS 2 MONTHS SALARY ARREARS; WOULD SUSTAIN PROMPT PAYMENT OF SALARIES, PENSION ALLOWANCES

By Prince Sekat, Jos

Plateau state Governor Simon Bako Lalong has cleared two months salary arrears owed civil servants on the state .

A civil servants who spoke to our correspondent but does not want his name on print because he is not authorised to speak on the matter told our correspondent that Lalong is keeping up to his promise of clearing the arrears of salaries owed civil servants .

It could be recalled that the Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong recently reiterated his commitment to the welfare of state’s civil servants, with promise to make them happy throughout his tenure.

The governor gave the assurance in his 2023 new year broadcast to the people of the state .

“On our part as a state, we will make sure we always do the most responsible and sustainable things for you (civil servants) to make sure you have a conducive environment to work, and make sure your salaries are paid as and when due.

In his words ” To our most esteemed civil servants, I want to specially thank you for your support, patience and understanding in the preceding year which has been a difficult one in terms of State finances.

Lalong added that the sharp fall in funds accruing to the State from the Federation Account has hit all States negatively.

“In our own case, we have used other sources including deepening our IGR to be able to sustain payment of salaries, pensions and allowances. “

“We remain up to date in payment of pensions to our retirees who served us with dignity, integrity and diligence. “

” Let me assure you that we will continue to do our best to keep the Alerts flowing and also ensure that we do not leave any arrears by the time we leave office.”

According to Lalong ” As you are aware, this Administration in collaboration with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria has provided home renovation loan to over 2,500 civil servants in the approximate sum of three million naira each across Ministries, Departments and Agencies to ease housing challenges they face”

“This is in addition to the assistance by Government to the Nigeria Labour Congress in the purchase of the land for the NLC Housing Project in Jebbu Miango, which I personally performed the ground breaking.”

Lalong also added that ” Government has taken note of the shortfall in manpower and has therefore approved the recruitment of qualified staff for the various MDAs and Tertiary Institutions to ensure that we have continuity in the bureaucracy for better performance and efficient implementation of Government projects and programmes in the service to the people. “ " To address the challenge of access to quality, affordable, and prompt healthcare by civil servants and our citizens in general, the Plateau State Health Insurance Management Agency, PLASCHEMA has continued to register thousands of enrollees who now get healthcare services across registered health facilities in the State. "

“We will do the needful to make you happy. Once you are happy you will deliver the service to the state,” Lalong further assured the state civil servants .
