MACHAM while addressing his supporters in Jos Plateau State capital said the purpoted Congresses is a direct dictatorship meted on innocent law abiding citizens of this country and practitioners of liberal and genuine Democracy.
The purpoted exercise falls completely short of the constitution of the People’s Democratic Party and the 2020 congress guideline of the part.
According to the aspirant, twenty three (23) aspirants who had purchased nomination forms vying for various positions were not invited for screening while tweenty five (25) others were invited to a hotel for the screening without the results displayed as outlined in the party guideline.
Macham further stated that none of the twenty three (23) aspirants who were denied screening were intimated about the sham congress which took place. “Just like other concerned party members, we woke on the said day only to hear news of state Congresses on social media, after fulfilling all the necessary requirements of the aspirations.

The ficitious votes allocated to some of us in absentia is an attempt to legitimize the illegality which took place. Those of us who mean well for the party will resist these dictatorial and undemocratic tendencies.
A party in opposition requires leaders with understanding of what it takes for a party in opposition to bounce back, than the insatiable thirst for selfishness and greed, Macham said.
