MESSAGE OF FELICITATION FROM HON. DUSU, ON THE OCCASION OF EIDEL FITR, CELEBRATION

The member representing the good people of Jos North West in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Surv. Esther Simi Dusu, felicitates with the Muslim Umah, on this unique Eidel- Fitr, celebration accompanied by showers of blessings from heaven.

Hon. Dusu says ” Eidel-Fitr, marks the end of the sacred month of Ramadan, also known as the ‘feast of breaking the fast, as it’s an important religious day celebrated my Muslims in Nigeria and the world.” Urging the Muslim community to use the opportunity of this unique celebration to pray for Nigeria, and Plateau State, as the country battles the dreaded monster called Covid-19.

Hon. Dusu, further advices her constituents to ensure safety, maintain personal hygiene and follow all the health guidelines issued by the government, as that is the only way to win the battle against corona-virus.

Consequently, on behalf of myself, family and constituents, may this Eid open your mind with new fresh thoughts and may God’s blessings be with you today, tomorrow and always. HAPPY MUBARAK

HON. KOMSOL GREETS MUSLIMS ON EID EL-FITR CELEBRATION, SUES FOR PEACE.

Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap, member representing Shendam Qua’an-Pan and Mikang Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, has sent his greetings to the Muslim Ummah, as they mark this year’s Eid al-fitr celebration.

Hon. Komsol tasked Muslim faithfuls to demonstrate kindness, love and good deeds which are the cardinal ordinances of the Holy month of Ramadan.

He further encouraged the Muslim Ummah to celebrate this year’s eid al-fitr with restraint, due to the ravaging effects of COVID-19 pandemic which has crippled global economic, Social, and religious activities.

Hon. Komsol while admonishing Muslim faithfuls to adhere to the laid down rules by relevant health authorities aimed at combatting the spread of COVID-19, wishes them the best of the celebrations.

EID-EL-FITR – SENATOR HEZEKIAH DIMKA CALLS FOR DIVINE INTERVENTION AS MUSLIMS MARK OCCASION.

Distinguished Senator Hezekiah Dimka,The Senator Representing Plateau Central senatorial District, has called on Muslims to pray for peace and stability amidst the Covid19 challenge in Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-fitr.

Senator Dimka calls on Islamic religious leaders to lead their followers properly so that they do not depart from the truth.

As this year’s celebration will be on a low-key due to the Covid19 pandemic,the Senator enjoin all Muslim faithfuls to seek Allah’s face with their loved ones while praying for a divine solution to end the spread of the Virus for life to return to normal.

He noted that Nigeria and the world is passing through trying times, as all efforts are geared towards surviving the dreaded Covid19 virus.
A development, he said, required that all men and women of goodwill rise up to tackle the menace by keeping to Governments preventive measures.

He canvassed that all constituents should as a matter of fact cooperate with government in the task of ensuring peace and unity in the state.

As the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end, I join many well wishers to felicitate with the Muslim Ummah for a successful year 2020 fasting and prayer.

It is my fervent hope that the virtues and teachings of Ramadan will linger beyond the celebration of Eid-el-fitr and guide our daily lives.

I urge that we should not relent in praying for the peace, unity, and development of Nigeria. Also, our supplication should include God’s intervention for an end to the coronavirus pandemic.

May the celebration be hitch free and we should endeavour to extend our love to those around us especially the needy and less privileged.

BARKA DA SALLAH TO ALL MUSLIMS ON THE PLATEAU

As Muslims the world over solemnly and piously mark Sunday, 24th and Monday, 25th May, 2020 for Eid El Fitr celebrations bringing to an end the Holy month of Ramadan fast, I join millions of well wishers around the globe to wish the Muslim Ummah and especially our Muslim brothers and sisters on the Plateau a very peaceful, fruitful, successful, happy and hitch free celebration. Even though from the period of the Ramadan fast to this moment that Sallah is being celebrated, we are still faced with a rather slightly worrying and difficult moment due to the biting effects of the novel corona covid-19 virus but by the grace God, we shall soon overcome it.

As we observe the festivities, let us remember that covid-19 is still ravaging our people. Please comply with the safety directives and guidelines of the Federal and State Governments—keep a social distance, use hand sanitizers, wear face masks, respect the total ban on the use of tricycles as well as the ban on public gatherings of more than fifty persons. Be security conscious; avoid criminal and antisocial activities to forestall the break down of law and order during the festivities. Cooperate with security agencies for a peaceful, crime free celebration.

May God sustain in us all the lessons learnt and the virtues of the period of Ramadan for a GREATER PLATEAU STATE.

The forum prayed that Almighty Allah accept the fasting of the Ummah as an act of worship.
